Flottweg strengthens sustainability efforts with continued commitment to the UN Global Compact

By actively participating in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), Flottweg SE, a leading global supplier of mechanical separation technology, underscores its long-term commitment to responsible corporate management. Flottweg has been part of the largest global initiative for sustainable and responsible corporate management since 2023. Around 25,500 participants in 167 countries worldwide currently participate in the initiative. 

By signing up to the UNGC, Flottweg has accepted the challenge to integrate the 10 universal principles regarding human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption into its corporate strategy and processes. The company also supports the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. These commitments are Flottweg’s contribution to achieving the vision of an inclusive and sustainable global economy for the benefit of everyone.

Our membership (since 2025) in the UN Global Compact Network Germany strengthens our sustainability efforts by providing access to practical tools, expert knowledge, and a strong corporate network. It enables credible communication, promotes exchange, and supports us in effectively implementing global responsibility at the local level.

Further steps for sustainability at Flottweg

In addition to the UN Global Compact, Flottweg is also making other efforts to anchor sustainability in the company. An important component of Flottweg’s sustainability strategy is the calculation and reduction of its Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF). A double materiality analysis has also been performed as part of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) to discover the sustainability issues that are of particular relevance to Flottweg. These issues will form the foundation for future sustainability reporting at Flottweg. In October 2025, Flottweg was awarded the Silver Seal from EcoVadis – the leading platform for sustainability assessments. Flottweg was assessed in the core categories of environment, labor standards and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement, and is among the best 15 percent of companies worldwide assessed by EcoVadis as part of the Silver Seal program.
