Three winners awarded prizes from the Flottweg career show competition

After the pandemic-induced break, the career show (Berufeschau) was held again in October at the Vilsbiburg townhall with around 65 employers from the region. For those interested, this was an opportunity to get to know Flottweg as a company and to learn about the internships and professional training offered at Flottweg. Visitors were asked to demonstrate their skill and ability at the Flottweg stand for a chance to win some fun prizes: Their task was to spin a top, which resembled a separator drum, for as long as possible. Flottweg’s training workshop produced around 400 spinning tops for the competition, and each participant was permitted to take their top home. Almost 300 people took part in Flottweg's competition during the two days of the trade fair.

Now the three winners with the three longest shooting times received their prizes. First place was won by Thomas Mühlhofer with an Apple Ipad, he managed to spin the top for 1 minute and 4 seconds. The second and third place winners had a neck-and-neck race: Martin Hofstetter, with a turning time of 59 seconds, received a VIB voucher worth €200, Alexander Nauert came in third with 58 seconds and secured a €50 VIB voucher. Training manager Daniel Wimmer handed over the prizes personally: "It was important to us to make the career show tangible. That is why we thought up this competition featuring our special, custom-made separator/tops. We are delighted that so many people tried their hand with the tops."
