Review of 2024 - A successful year at Flottweg

Flottweg SE can look back on a dynamic and successful 2024. Characterized by numerous national and international trade fairs, the past year was also very eventful. In addition to the ground-breaking ceremony for the new Process Center, the appointment of a new Management Board member was also a milestone for the company. 

Ground-breaking ceremony for the Process Center - focus on innovation and progress

The ground-breaking ceremony for the Process Center in June 2024 marked the start of a major new project at Flottweg. The Process Center is an extension of Plant 2, which was opened in Vilsbiburg in 2021 and further strengthens the site. On around 2,000 square meters, the new technology center with laboratory, test, office and storage space will offer the opportunity to design customer-specific solutions in an even more targeted manner in the future. This will enable the separation technology specialist to meet growing customer requirements and support the development of new innovations and technologies. With around 15 million euros for the Process Center, Flottweg is making a long-term investment in the future of the company and creating a basis for sustainable and innovative growth in the coming years.

Jörg Lengenfelder - new member of the Executive Board at Flottweg SE

Dipl.-Ing. Jörg Lengenfelder has been supporting the Executive Board of Flottweg SE since November 1, 2024. Alongside Dr. Kersten Christoph Link as CEO and Klaus Huber as CFO, Mr. Lengenfelder will now join the Management Board team. As Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Mr. Lengenfelder is responsible for the technological and operational management of the company. “As the new CEO of Flottweg SE, I look forward to shaping the future together with our team. Resilience and speed in the supply chain are more important today than ever before. It is very important to me to develop our company together and ultimately be successful as a team,” explains Jörg Lengenfelder. “With the combined experience and commitment of each individual, we at Flottweg will continue to be a leader in separation technology, true to our brand promise “Engineered For Your Success”.” 

2024 - A strong trade fair year

With over 130 trade fairs and events worldwide, including four major leading trade fairs in Germany, 2024 was a strong trade fair year for Flottweg. From IFAT as the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, to BrauBeviale with a focus on separation technology for beer and beverage production, to Achema as the process industry's largest trade fair for chemical engineering, process technology and biotechnology, Flottweg presented its various separation solutions in various application areas in Germany. Flottweg also showcased its wide range of separation technology and separation units at international trade fairs around the world. At PackExpo International in Chicago, the focus was on the processing industry. While Coramin in Peru and MINExpo in Las Vegas focused on the mining industry.
