Peter Frankfurter - new Chief Financial Officer at Flottweg SE

The new CFO at Flottweg in Vilsbiburg, Germany is Peter Frankfurter, who began his position March 1, 2016. The 53 year old is successor to Knut Pantel who left the office at the end of October 2015. Mr. Frankfurter will be responsible for finance and accounting, business process management, business orders processing, risk management and the personnel/professional training/academy area.

Peter Frankfurter completed his studies in business and finance at the University of Saarland in Saarbrücken before becoming a controller which was then followed by a period as manager of factory controlling at Kömmerling Kunststoffwerke GmbH. After various other business management positions at Renolit SE, Gebhardt Ventilatoren GmbH and SUMIDA Europe GmbH, Mr. Frankfurter was appointed to the executive board at Roth & Rau AG in October of 2011 and went on to become chairman mid-2013. Four years later, the graduate in business has now moved to the executive board of Flottweg SE, which once again comprises four persons. “Flottweg has grown significantly in recent years, which means the complexity of it – whether from globalization or the variety of applications for our products – has grown as well. The goal of our company is to adapt or restructure the processes and structures so that we remain sustainably competitive. Mr. Frankfurter is an experienced and resilient person who will be able to implement this undertaking, from our point of view, or, in other words, the viewpoint of the executive board and supervisory board, with our employees within an appropriate amount of time. In addition, he should also become the financial conscience of the company,” said Peter Bruckmayer, chairman of the supervisory board in explanation of the decision to appoint Peter Frankfurter.

 

Peter Frankfurter is looking forward to his new duties with great anticipation: “I am naturally looking forward to Bavaria and collaborating with my colleagues on the executive board, the supervisory board and staff. I would like to develop my executive area jointly with my team. The goal is naturally to continue building on Flottweg’s success, to secure the existing jobs and to create new ones.” Peter Frankfurter is married and has one grown son.
