Modern training with added value - Meet-and-Greet Session Kicks Off Orientation Day 2024

Training with added value, modern teaching opportunities and a team that sticks together - that's what training at mechanical engineering company Flottweg is all about. To make it easier for trainees starting their apprenticeships in 2024 and to give them an in-depth insight into the world of work at Flottweg, Flottweg once again organized a trainee introduction day this year. With a current total of 60 trainees, Flottweg is one of the most popular training companies in the Landshut area.

Get to know Flottweg as a training company

The introductory day took place on Friday, 02.02.2024, from 12:00 to 16:30. Together with their parents, the future trainees were able to gain their first impressions of their future working environment and receive further information about their training. In addition to a presentation of the company and the internal training workshop, the young people had the opportunity to ask the trainers their questions. Topics such as training content or special events were discussed. At the same time, the soon-to-be trainees were able to make initial contacts with each other. Finally, those interested were given a tour of Plant 1 with its production and Plant 2 with its assembly.

Training manager Daniel Wimmer is pleased with the introductory day: "At Flottweg, we place great value on an open corporate culture - which is why it is very important to us to introduce and welcome the future trainees and their parents before they start in September. It is important to us that the trainees enjoy their work and that they are encouraged to work together right from the start. Because we focus on modern training with added value and teamwork at the same time."

Flottweg is currently training industrial mechanics (m/f/d), mechatronics technicians (m/f/d), industrial clerks with further qualification as foreign language correspondents (m/f/d) and warehouse logistics specialists (m/f/d).
