Best Looking Trial System – Flottweg Wins Design Award in Bronze

On February 17, 2018, the American Advertising Federation in Dayton, Ohio announced the winners of the 2018 Hermes Awards. One of this year's winners is Flottweg Separation Technology, Inc., a subsidiary of Flottweg SE in Vilsbiburg. The separation technology specialist was given the award for the new design of their mobile trial system.

Using a test machine on-site is often the most reliable way to be sure you are selecting the right separating machine. So Flottweg offers mobile test systems even for difficult products. This makes it possible to find the optimum solution for any separation task under the specified process conditions. Flottweg Separation Technology Inc. maintains several of these mobile test systems to support their customers in the United States and Canada in the process of selecting the right separation process. One of these plants received an entirely new outer shell in 2017. And as a result, the redesigned trial plant has now won the Hermes Award in Bronze in the category "Out-of-Home and Ambient Media".

The plant that received the award has one of the most modern wastewater centrifuges in the world, the Flottweg C4E, all its associated peripherals, and its own laboratory for evaluating test results. The plant is used both for sewage sludge dewatering and for sewage sludge thickening, and can be used in projects on either a short-term or long-term basis.
