Meet-and-Greet Session Kicks Off Orientation Day 2023 at Flottweg

Training is an important part of working at Flottweg: Promoting young talent has been an important component of the separation technology specialist’s DNA since 1946. To make it easier for trainees to transition into their professions during the upcoming year of training, Flottweg organized another meet-and-greet day for them this year. With 58 trainees in total, Flottweg is currently one of the most popular training companies in the Landshut region. Flottweg currently provides training for the professions of industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, industrial management assistants with further qualification as foreign language correspondent, and warehouse logistics specialist.

Introduction to Flottweg as a Training Company

After a pandemic-forced break, the meet-and-greet day was held on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Together with their parents, the future trainees were able to gain initial impressions of their new working environment and receive further information on the training. In addition to a presentation of the company and the training workshop, the young people had the opportunity to ask Flottweg trainers questions and engage in dialog. Topics such as training content, special events, vacation, and salary were discussed. The soon-to-be trainees were also able to make their first contacts at the same time. Finally, the interested visitors were taken on a tour of Plant 1 where screws are produced and Plant 2 where assembly is carried out.

Training Manager Daniel Wimmer is satisfied with the Orientation Day: “At Flottweg, we value our open corporate culture highly—which is why it is very important to us to introduce and welcome future trainees before they start in September. We want the trainees to enjoy their work and to promote cooperation from the very beginning.”
