Bavarian state competition Jugend forscht - Flottweg as Bavarian state sponsor

Jugend forscht, Germany's best-known competition for young talent in the STEM subjects, will take place again in 2024. From 10 to 12 April 2024, state sponsor Flottweg will be hosting the Bavarian state competition in Vilsbiburg under the motto "Get your head around it". The aim of Jugend forscht is to get young people interested in science and to encourage creativity and curiosity. Young researchers between the ages of 15 and 21 present their diverse research projects from seven different categories such as biology, physics and technology. Separation technology specialist Flottweg is once again taking on the role of sponsor company and host.

Procedure of the Jugend forscht competition

• Regional competitions: 
  Young researchers can qualify for the state competition of the respective federal state in the regional competitions. All dates of the regional competitions are listed here: https://www.jugend-forscht-bayern.de/landeswettbewerb-bayern/termine-2/
   
• State competition:
  The best projects from eight categories are chosen in a two-day competition with all regional winners. All winners of the Bavarian state competition are allowed to take part in the national competition and represent their respective state there. 
   
• National competition: 
  Takes place from 05/30/2024 to 06/02/2024 in Heilbronn.
