Flottweg — part of your life for over 80 years
Vilsbiburg — the success of trade shows as an instrument for communication and marketing continues unabated even in these times of booming internet business. According to a report from the Ausstellungs- und Messe-Ausschusses der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V. (AUMA, the Exhibition and Trade Show Committee for the German Economy), about 161 interregional trade shows were held in Germany in 2012, with a total of about 10.5 million visitors. Regional trade shows such as the WirtschaftsSchau Vilsbiburg are, however, also very popular. For this reason, Flottweg is exhibiting under the slogan "Flottweg — part of your life for over 80 years" from September 4 to September 7 in the town hall of Vilsbiburg.
Did you know?
Beer, olive oil, wheat starch, crude oil, even sludge. At first glance, these products would seem to have little in common. On closer inspection, however, a common feature is striking: all these products are manufactured or processed using Flottweg decanters, separators and belt presses. At the WirtschaftsSchau in Vilsbiburg, which takes place from 4 – 7 September, the company will demonstrate the versatility of Flottweg machines across a wide range of application areas.
Making new from old
To complete the slogan "Flottweg — part of your life for over 80 years", Flottweg will take visitors on a journey back in time, comparing one of the company's current decanters with a forty-year-old machine. This journey will be supported by a poster depicting the development of the company's premises and showcasing the firm's continuous growth and the durability and reliability of its products.
Training with Flottweg — a sound decision
From 1 September the new training year begins in Germany. In 2013 alone, 1.4 million young men and women started their professional lives with a professional apprenticeship. Flottweg has been one of the largest training providers in the region since 1946, taking on ten to fifteen new trainees each year. At the WirtschaftsSchau, Flottweg will offer interested young people or parents the opportunity to contact the company and ask specific questions about apprenticeships. Among others, current Flottweg trainees will be available to answer questions.
