Flottweg Moves French Subsidiary
On September 6, 2018, Neuville-sur-Oise saw the official opening ceremony of the new facilities in France. With these new facilities, Flottweg can offer its customers the option of having repairs and service work carried out in France. FW France now also has its own fleet of test machines for experimentation at customer sites. The move into the new facilities is Flottweg's response to the rapid growth of its subsidiary in France.
Flottweg's history in France started at the end of the 1980s. The company began with a sales office staffed with four employees who were responsible for France and the Maghreb states. In 2001, the subsidiary moved into the “TECHNOPARC” in Poissy, where the company remained until a few weeks ago. "We have waited feverishly for the day of the move. Our continued growth made this step urgently necessary," said Jean-Sébastien Bizot at the ceremony. The new facilities in Neuville-sur-Oise provide approximately 1,200 square meters of space for up to 35 people.
But the move to the new building offers especially great advantages to customers. Thanks to the new in-house service center, it will be possible to carry out repairs and service work directly in France. The subsidiary now also has two test plants. These plants can be set up and tested at customer sites for experimental purposes.
In addition, the new building provides multiple meeting and training rooms that will be used for customer training.
