New Dual Leadership Team — Dr. Kersten Link Becomes Spokesman of the Board of Directors at Flottweg SE

A fresh breeze at Flottweg: Flottweg is kicking off 2022 with personnel changes. After 13 years as Spokesman of the Board of Directors, Fritz Colesan is moving to the Supervisory Board and handing over his office to his successor, Dr. Kersten Link. Dr. Link and Peter Frankfurter will join forces to form a dual leadership team within the Board of Directors from January 1, 2022, within which Dr. Link will be responsible for the areas of technology and sales. To ensure a smooth transition, Dr. Link has already been with the company since October 2021 and has since gained a comprehensive insight into Flottweg’s processes and the goals of Strategy 2025.

Dr. Link, who holds a doctorate in process engineering, worked for more than 20 years in a management position in plant engineering at Eisenmann SE. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2008 and was responsible for, among other things, the entire Environmental Technology and "Thermal Solutions" value chain. “I am very much looking forward to my role as Spokesman of the Board of Directors, Flottweg SE. Over the past few months, I have come to know Flottweg as a future-oriented company. We have first-class products and excellent employees", commented Dr. Kersten Link on his joining of the family-owned, medium-sized company.

 

Flottweg Positions Itself for the Future

After a successful year 2021 with around 230 million euros in revenue and the opening of Plant 2 in Vilsbiburg, Flottweg is positioning itself for the new year 2022 with this internal change. Fritz Colesan now serves on the Supervisory Board as an advisor for Strategy 2025. In two years’ time, according to plan, he will succeed Peter Bruckmayer as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Fritz Colesan is very pleased that Dr. Kersten Link will be his successor: “Going forward with Dr. Link, Flottweg has an experienced and competent spokesman for the Board of Directors.
