Flottweg extends commitment to Roten Raben Vilsbiburg

Last Tuesday, 29 October 2020, representatives of the Roten Raben (English: Red Ravens) and Flottweg met in Vilsbiburg to sign a further joint collaboration agreement. Flottweg has been the largest sponsor of the Raben for many years and thus plays an important role in the federal volleyball league in Vilsbiburg.

The corona pandemic has not only affected industry, trade and catering, but also sport. The absence of spectator revenues from ticket sales is a particular challenge for many clubs. Therefore, income from sponsors is all the more important. "With regard to sponsoring agreements, it was of existential importance for us to receive an early signal that Flottweg and our other partners would like to
continue working with us", said André Wehnert, Managing Director of Roten Raben Bundesligabetriebs GmbH.

Flottweg made a conscious decision to extend the contract: "Of course, we must also take the current corona situation into account in such matters. However, it is also important to us as a company to safeguard Vilsbiburg as a federal league volleyball location. With our commitment, we offer our employees and other potentially interested parties absolute top sports in the region. This clearly has a positive effect on the attractiveness of our location", says Fritz Colesan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Flottweg SE. With the extension of the contract, Flottweg is sending a clear signal of solidarity with the region and the community as a whole.
