Career start at Flottweg: Review of the career information day for training and production

On Saturday, July 6, 2024, machine manufacturer Flottweg held the career information day for apprenticeships in Plant 1. Around 300 visitors were given an insight into the working world of the separation technology specialist and had the opportunity to get to know the training workshop. Flottweg is currently offering apprenticeships in the following four professions: Industrial mechanic (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d), warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d) and industrial clerk with additional qualification in foreign languages (m/f/d). Interested parties who wanted to find out about job opportunities in production also had the opportunity to gain an insight into the world of work at Flottweg.

Career information day with a varied program

The forklift truck and welding simulator were particular highlights of the careers information day. Here, interested parties had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of work up close and experience the various work activities virtually. Pupils and their parents were also able to work on various projects in the training workshop and get to know the numerous production machines for turning, milling and drilling. During a tour of one of the most modern production facilities in Bavaria, visitors also asked questions about the various work steps, areas of responsibility and career opportunities at Flottweg.
