Business Is Booming At Flottweg

Flottweg sees record sales in the first half of 2017. Flottweg SE in Vilsbiburg has started 2017 off with outstanding success. At the employee meeting on July 20, 2017, Speaker of the Board Fritz Colesan presented the figures for the first half.

Orders received came to just about 40 percent more than in the first half of the previous year. That gave the Flottweg Group record order receipts in the amount of 104 million EUR. Growth in new machines was particularly strong, but the after-sales business is also significantly bigger than last year. A series of large projects made a decisive contribution in that area. For example, a wheat starch system in Uzbekistan tooled up with <link internal-link>Flottweg Machines. Several machines were also sold in the area of fish processing. A company in Thailand invested about 2.3 million EUR into separation technology from Flottweg.

As a reward for their success in the first half of the year, all employees were paid a special bonus.
